The Le Touessrok Resort is a beach front resort overlooking Trou d’eau Douce Bay in Mauritius. The five star resort was recently refurbished with pure luxury and indulgence in mind and you can see this through the carefully planned modern décor, a range of unique cuisine at the selection of restaurants and bars and the designer spa. The Le Touessrok is an award winning resort and has recently been awarded the Best Hotel in Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean and the resort’s Givenchy spa has a Best Spa and Wellness Hotel Worldwide silver award. With such great awards and amazing reviews you can relax knowing you are about to have a truly luxurious break in a beautiful island overlooking stunning scenery and the Indian Ocean.
The resort consists of a mainland hotel where the spa, restaurants, bars, pools and a kids club reside and then two additional islands a short private boat ride away with an exclusive retreat and an 18 hole championship golf course.
The Le Touessrok Resort has a selection of 200 modern rooms positioned in wings so you will either have views of the beautiful ocean or the Frangipani Island. The butler serviced accommodation ranges from deluxe rooms to secluded Royal suites created with honeymooners in mind looking for that extra privacy. All of the rooms have air conditioning, an entertainment system including television, games and music, an iPod dock and a mini bar as standard.
The quality of the food at the resort is as you can imagine, amazing. The five restaurants serve a range of international food which includes Western, Japanese and Indian. The main restaurant is aptly named Three Nine Eight which serves food on a buffet for breakfast and evening meals from nine different countries over three floors from eight show kitchens. There is one bar in the centre of the swimming pool which serves a range of snacks and drinks throughout the day. For those spending their days on the beach enjoying the activities and lush ocean views there are snacks served on the beach all day.
This is a five star resort with five star facilities. The championship 18 hole golf course is on one of the resorts islands, there are cycling tours around the island and an array of sporting activities in the fitness centre, tennis courts and water sports such as sailing, snorkeling and more on the beach. The resort runs a two clubs, one for children and one for teens keeping them occupied throughout the day with a range of activities and entertainment. For those who wish to laze in the pool there are two available, one freeform and the other the home of the swim up bar.
